Loooook my baby is the size of a blueberry- what a cutie! What is my little blueberry doing? Well this week the hands and feet are emerging from the still growing arms and legs. The baby has doubled in size JUST FROM LAST WEEK. Lots of cute new facts: there are tiny eyelid folds, both hemispheres of the brain are developing (generating 100 cells per minute), the liver is working, the appendix, kidney, and pancreas are developed, the intesitines are developing and my baby's umbilical cord is blood vessels to carry nutrients and food to and from that tiny body! What a hard working baby I have! :)
I am hoping to tell my extended family about the pregnancy this week- but I might have to wait it out till Sunday. I really don't want anyone to find out "accidently". Plus, I am kinda tired of tip toeing around it because I am super excited to be prego soooo at least *i* will have told everyone that I am supposed to tell and that stress will be lifted off.
Now I am going to spend the day doing homework so my baby will have a College Educated Mama.

awww, i love the blueberry. i'm glad you enjoyed 'belly laughs'!! i am just reading through 'what to expect when you're expecting' but as far as non-pregnancy books are concerned, you should pick up the memoirs by nic and david sheff (tweak and beautiful boy)..... so good!
