Another week goes by- 19 weeks!! Baby is definitely moving and growing; I can feel baby more and after barely gaining any weight the last 4 months (only 4 lbs) I have already doubled that this month... but I won't be upset *sigh* when I gain weight it makes my Baby happy!
This week Baby is the size of a Mango- 6 inch (head to rump) and weighs 8.5 ounces- which is half of a pound!! Baby's arms and legs are in proportion to the rest of the body. Baby has a waxy coating, vernix caseosa that is coating her body protecting her skin from months floating in amniotic fluid! Baby's sensory development is exploding! His brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch.
4 days till I find out the sex of my Baby, and I can not wait. I feel really good about my names that I have right now and even tho Jason isn't on board for the girl name.... well I am pretty sure the baby is in my belly and hormones have kicked in and I don't care what anyone thinks! :P I will wait to share... I think once I know for sure boy or girl it will help me seal my decision or make it more impossible.
I feel crappy today so I am going to lay down and enjoy my only day off on the couch.
