30 Weeks - Only 10 more to go!!!

I am now 30 weeks pregnant- WOAH! This week my baby boy is around 3 lbs and about 15.7 inches from head to heal. His brain is growing and going from smooth to the wrinkled, crinkled, and indented brain we are used to ... "seeing"- the reason for the change is because this allow for more brain tissue to develop. This week bone marrow has taken over the production of red blood cells, which is a pretty important step (according to "what to expect..."). Lastly Baby has been covered with Lanugo, which made him look.. fuzzy and now most of that is shedding because the brain and fat on the body are able to help baby regulate his temperature. Though he may be born with a little still on him it too will shed.

This week is designated for baby shower #1 invitations and putting together furniture! I also am doing my 30 week picture tomorrow gotta keep a little proof of this baby belly. For the most part I have been feeling pretty good- I am really having to adjust my walking, sitting, getting up, and general moving techniques. It is bad when you are walking and KNOW that you are waddling and there isn't a thing you can do... luckily this belly seems to be make all the things I find embarrassing totally acceptable.

I am finding the more things I get done and the less stressed and less focused on stress I become the weirder my dreams become... people taking my baby to the hospital and not telling me, living in huge attics with ghosts who are like extra dead.... very odd.
