Went to the doctor today and it was very successful. I don't have some bacteria in my vagina that could cause my baby to get sick- phew! I was weighed and actually lost 1/2 a pound since last week... which is okay to do, surprise. Supposedly at the end of pregnancy some women will lose weight right before they go into labor... I don't know why but I will go with it. I found out that I will probably have to pick a different hospital if I want to be induced December 22, which would be Menorah. BUT if I go into labor before that, which is likely, then I will still go to Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
Lastly, I am crossing the cesarean section debate again. Evidently my high level of amniotic fluid and the large size of my baby (specifically his head?) are causing him to not stay low in my pelvic region like he should. This means that there will be a chance I will need a c-section.At this point I am almost tempted to just say to do the c-section instead of taking the chance of rushing into an emergency c-section and causing extra fetal stress.... I do hate to give up on the vaginal birth though.
Time to go relax so I can be ready for a long Thanksgiving day!!!
