Surprise... now what?

I'm Pregnant!! I took my first test late on Thursday April 10th, but had no clue if it was positive or negative sooo i waited and waited till I could wake my Mom up to see what she thought. Of course she was as unsure as I was, which meant that we both thought it could be positive. I ran all over trying to find somewhere that was open at 6:30 am that sold Pregnancy tests and finally got to Wal-Mart. I bought two digital tests that were one brand and another brand with a digital test and a couple regular pee on a stick style tests. I rushed home and took the two different brands digital tests. And..... both said "Pregnant"!!!

I told my family first and then called my best friend Kennedy to share the news with her. What are the chances that she is 4 months along in her pregnancy and now I am pregnant too!!! It will be pretty cool to be able to share this together! :) The next person I told would be the father- Jason. He needed a bit more time to adjust to the surprise, but he is coming out of shock little by little ...

The last few days have been filled with tons of emotions- happiness, fear, hope, excitment, and out of all the emotions I haven't been sad for a moment. This is something I have always wanted to do and something that I have always known I will be good at; no matter the circumstance. While I would have hoped that certain elements were different- I could not possibly be more excited for this baby to become part of our lives.

Once Monday rolled around it was time to start making phone calls and trying to set up appointments and let me tell you: this is no easy task...
