Helping to Make a Better Visual of WhatIs Happening in my uterus :)
Okay so maybe I am a really big loser, Maybe I need to be working more so I don't have time to do things like this, or MAYBE I am going to make the coolest Pregnancy Scrapbook EVER!!! haha I suppose it could be a little bit of everything.
I have my pregnancy journal, which is amazing- but it is mostly facts, information, written memories, thoughts, and the reason I got it is because of all the room for pictures and my own personal stuff (plus it wasn't all like my husband and when we planned or any of those crazy normal ways that people begin families). BUT I want to make a book for me to look back on and for my baby that documents in a different way my Pregnancy. Pictures of the people in my life- friend and family and then having space to talk about them and why they are important to me and things they have done during the pregnancy that are small and silly but important. I also want a place to show me throughout the pregnancy: before and during. My family has a picture taking problem and so I want to gather those and not just have them on my computer but together. I also want to put important and unimportant stuff going on in the world. Right now a woman and a black man are running for president and one of them will be elected- that is a big deal. What a cool time to bring a baby into the world- with a democrat in office- sweet! :) Polar Bears are in danger of extinction and Britney Spears is fighting for her children... these events must be documented :)
I know it is cool to look back at the stuff my mom saved, even from when I was little. The newspaper from the day I was born... stuff happens every day that is going to make history books for our kids and how cool to say yea my mom saved that newspaper clipping and I have this piece of history because my mom loves me so much she saved it for me so I could have the best show in tell any 3rd grader has ever had. hahaha.... okay maybe I am thinking too far ahead but it is something to do other than watching sitcoms and movies all day, right?
Anyways- I am gathering tons of pics and then I am going to hobby lobby to start today. I found a scrapbook I loved at Target but it was in either blue or pink and I HATE that everything cool to do expects me to wait till I know the sex of the baby- it is the meanest thing they can hold over an emotional pregnant woman's head and there is nothing I can do till I know... haha sorry dramatic moment.
Pregnancy Insomnia plus my Manic unmedicated nature are allowing for some awesome creativity-- just watch out for when I turn and throw a pint glass through your window :P haha
