I have been wanting to cook, but finally my need for fruit has taken over. I found a few recipes for strawberry pie and tonight I began the process of learning to make the perfect strawberry pie. Lets start from the beginning:
I have been totally afraid of having to gain weight or gaining 100lbs instead of the 25-30 expected. While I am afraid, I have only gained 2 or 3 pounds which is an ideal way to start the second trimester. Now I am at the point that I am always hungry but I don't want to eat all day long BUT my body is smart because what am I craving? FRUIT: apples, strawberries, pineapples, bananas, oranges.... YUM. I also have been loving carrots. SO I went to the store about bought apples, strawberries, and carrots-- plus all the ingredients for a strawberry pie and fruit dip.. I made the fruit dip tonight and it is soooo good. Plus I used fat free ingredients when I could- so i don't have to feel too bad.
I sliced 4lbs of strawberries tonight and put some sugar on them -to sweeten overnight- tomorrow will be the day of making pie! :)
Tomorrow is also my next doctors appointment. Don't really know what to expect, but I definitely have some questions for my Doctor this time!! Hopefully everything is in working order.
Time to try and get some sleep!! Good night!!
