3-D Baby!

My Baby Sucking His Thumb at 28 weeks!

Today I had my 3-D/4-D Sonogram! I am so proud of my little man for doing such a good job showing off today! I was so scared I was going to spend $175 and he was going to do what he has done the last two times.... and NOT let us look at him. BUT he was great and moved all around and let us see his little face and hand and legs. The 3-D Sonogram is definitly worth it when you get to really see him moving and doing all the things he does while he is in your belly. And even though he is still super little and some would say "alien" looking I totally see baby!! When he was opening his mouth as wide as he could and looking super weird I was thinking he is so funny as he stuck his whole hand into his mouth! It was great and so worth it.

Since the sonogram was a "fun" one they didn't really look at the details but his heart rate was 146BPM which it has been for months and he weighs a big ol' 2lbs and 9oz, which is 2 and a half pounds! For the next 8 weeks he will gain about 3 ounces a week and then for the last 4 weeks it is an ounce a DAY.. wow. I was pleased to figure out his basic positioning and it makes total sense now that I can imagine him better. It is his butt that makes it hard for me to sleep hehe.

I am totally in love with this little guy- he is perfect! I can hardly believe in 2 1/2 months I will be able to see him!! :)
