My Third Trimester Begins

I am now 28 weeks pregnant, which means I am now starting my third trimester! YAY! He is about 2lbs and 4 oz and 14.8 inches from head to heel. I will find out a little more accurately today at my sonogram. He is now able to blink his eyes, which have little eyelashes on them. His eyesight is continuing to develop along with their sensitivity to the light that filters through my belly. He's also developing billions of neurons in his brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.

It is crazy how much he moves- he is constantly moving this way or that. Night time has started to get more difficult and more uncomfortable, depending on where he has positioned himself, which of course can change constantly. I tend to get better sleep if I sleep for small amounts at a time, multiple times. Which of course keeps me constantly tired and from ever leaving the house, but being at home is tons of fun :)

This afternoon will be my 3-D sonogram- FINALLY! I am so excited to see him again!!
