My Baby Boy is now the size of a Honeydew Melon! Granted he has been in this range for a couple weeks now, and will probably move on to the next fruit in a week or so (watermelon!) but we can stick with the given produce timeline! :)
A variety of fun facts:
- Baby can now recognize and react to simple songs!
- Baby's nudges and pushes have more impact lately because there is less amniotic fluid to cushion his movements.
- Baby has now developed his own immune system, using anitbodies from Momma, so that he will be able to protect himself from mild infections.
- Baby is now starting to act more like a Baby. He has his eyes open when he is awake and closed when he is sleeping. The light coming through my belly help him learn the difference between night and day.
I am so freaking tired all the time ... that is all I can tell you about my world :P
Happy Halloween and November 1st is Shea's First Birthday! :) I can't believe she is already a year old- just makes me want to cry! I swear it feels like just yesterday I was holding her for the first time and now she is the little person who is doing so much and ... sigh, I can hardly take it!
