This weekend .. well starting around Thursday and reaching its worst on Saturday I realized I had a brand new pain going on. One similar to pains before but in an all new location. Little by little and then all at once I felt this crazy amount of pressure in what I can only assume to refer to as the pelvic region. It feels like the floating gravity in my baby's amniotic world shut down and suddenly he has just plopped down and his hanging out, where I can only describe it as between my legs (or in the pelvic region). I am truly crippled (haha- or i am a drama queen) but by the end of the day I can barely get up the stairs or even walk. I would almost take the back pain again ... maybe.
So after careful research and a lot of whining I think this might be what is referred to as the baby "dropping" and most things seem to be fitting that description. I go to the doctor tomorrow and I will ask her to check out the situation and see what she thinks since she is the one with the medical degree and I am the one who finds all her answers at babycenter.com. The thing that makes me nervous is that when the baby drops it means that you will more than likely deliver in 2-4 weeks. 4 weeks would work with my schedule, but anything else could very likely mess with my Thanksgiving schedule and I don't know how I feel about that :)
Now I have to go to work, which I haven't done in about a week, and I am pretty sure that this is going to be IMPOSSIBLE! I can't even walk to my kitchen with the strong motivation for food, I just don't think other people needing food is going to be motivation enough for me to truck it around Fridays... maternity leave anyone?
