Weekly Doctor's Appointment

Today was another weekly doctor's appointment and I could not be more disappointed in my cervix. I am still only 1 centimeter dilated, which I know doesn't necessarily mean that I won't go into labor at anytime but my cervix also hasn't thinned out much. I think it is safer for my sanity to just trust that I won't be early and that I will be induced Dec. 21/Dec. 22. The Doctor told me today that since things don't seem to be progressing that she wants me to come in the evening before my induction to do something to help soften my cervix so that it will dilate faster on the induction day.

Of course the important part is that we are both healthy and doing well. :) I just wish we were healthy and doing well while I was hugging and kissing him... but I suppose I can wait it out!
