Doctor's Appointment

I went to the doctor yesterday and after a bit of feeling around my belly and then checking my cervix (ouch) it was decided that the baby has dropped, but my cervix is still closed so we aren't have a baby quiet yet! Phew! Him and I are both healthy and the goal is to make it through November and after that he is welcome to join the world outside my uterus!

Next Monday I have another sonogram to check on the amniotic fluid levels and to see how much he has grown. Hopefully he slowed down a bit this month.. but As long as he isn't like 3 lbs bigger I am okay with it :)

Yesterday I voted (for the first time) and I am super excited that Barack Obama won!! I am incredibly hopeful that things are going to start changing- even if it just starts with America's attitude changing from hopeless to hopeful.

I went to the Dept. of Social and Rehabilitation Services after my Doctor's appointment and picked up lots of Child Support Paper work; much better than the crap I was downloading on line. It sucks because I can't turn anything in till the baby is born, which i know makes sense, but it doesn't make sense that it will take months for it to go through and till then I am going to have to do it all and pay for it all on my own. I am alot of things, but I am not superwoman with a tree that grows money in the backyard. *sigh* But I do feel good having it all done and the office is right by the hospital so i will do a little pushing action and then drop it off ASAP. Maybe this could be one government system that works quickly and efficiently for me, maybe?
