SAWYER PATRICK MCNELLIS WAS BORN ON DECEMBER 18TH, 2008 AT 6:24PM.
8LBS 7OZ AND 19 1/2 INCHES
He is an absolute angel and I don't think I could possibly love someone more, but to my surprise I am finding myself loving him more and more each day. I know that as the Mom I am going to think that he is beautiful and perfect, but he really is!!! I couldn't be more lucky than to have such a healthy and happy baby boy.
He looks a lot like me, but has his moments that I see his Dad in him. He has brown hair that is dark right now, but is looking like it might lighten up. You can never be sure with the eyes, but they are changing a lot.. mostly blue but I am watching them pretty closely. Right away he was all about getting his hands in his mouth and when he discovered a binkie he was in love. And he is constantly moving his hands or playing with his hands or pulling on something or just putting them in his mouth. Sawyer is not the kind of baby who just wants to sit there, but I knew that before he was born.
I do intend to mention the events on the day he was born but for now I just wanted to mention it.. a week later. Above is a picture of Sawyer when he was three days old... there are plenty more pictures to come.
